Anna has always welcomed the challenges of life and different art mediums.  She received a BFA in printmaking from the State University of New York at New Paltz.  That marked the beginning of her interest in pattern and texture.  She was often more intrigued with the plates than the actual prints, so it’s natural that she began exploring sculptural mediums. She moved west to Colorado and worked for several years in a bronze foundry and studied with master stone carvers in the area. Since her return to the east coast she has been painting and exploring real and surreal subjects.
